The Case
The grand clock tower near the park has kept perfect time for a decade — until the night it freezes at 6:03, and every autonomous car nearby starts behaving like it's forgotten how to drive. One idles with its door open, flashing NO ROUTE FOUND. Another reverses into traffic. Something in the city's network just broke, and it broke on purpose.
While engineers scramble to explain it away as a glitch, the detectives notice something the adults miss: a lone bicycle courier, hopelessly old-fashioned in a city of hovercars, watching the frozen plaza a little too closely.
Elowen, Killian, and Roland have twenty-four hours before the whole grid resets itself — and erases the only proof that the clock, the cars, and the courier are all part of the same plan.
